Boost Your Self-Esteem

  1. Track gratitude and accomplishments at least 3 things daily
    • These can be simple things. For example: I am grateful for my sobriety, health, and food. My accomplishments today are I prayed, made my bed, and showered.
  2. Start the day off with coffee. It lowers rates of depression
  3. Focus on the positive. Soak up the joy of current activities
  4. If something is bothering you, write about it.
  5. Cuddle with an animal. It boosts your happiness and oxygen
  6. Set up a getaway. Planning a vacation, or little things to do will boost your happiness for up to 8 weeks.
  7. Build on your strengths
  8. Set the temperature between 60-67 degrees at night for a cool nights rest
  9. You don’t always have to see the whole staircase. Take the first step.
  10. Experiment with creative expressions
  11. Boost your brain power with dark chocolate. The more cocoa, the better it is for your brain.
  12. Take time to laugh, watch some comedy.
  13. Bring what is within you, out. Don’t obsess over the past.
  14. Practice mindfulness. Live in the moment.
  15. Eat omega 3’s. They are good for your brain.
